Event 1: Technical Paper Presentation

Rules and Regulations:

  1. Maximum number of participants in a Team is limited to 2 Members..
  2. The topics that the papers need to be based on are suggestive. It is advisable that the presentation focuses on one particular topic. The participants who are desirous of choosing a different theme than those mentioned above are welcome, provided, it falls under the ambit of the domain.
  3. Abstract should not exceed 1 page and Paper should not exceed 12 pages.
  4. Bring your college ID-Card & Registration form on event day.
  5. Please bring your Power Point presentation on a CD and on a Pen-drive & it should be in 2007 format.
  6. Soft-copies of the submitted paper and PowerPoint presentations must be in the .docx format.
  7. Please bring 2 hardcopies of the submitted paper on the day of the event.
  8. The teams will get 8 (+2) minutes for presentation followed by question and answer session. 
  9. Paper should be in a one column format & should not exceed 12 pages.
  10. Paper should be in Times New Roman font of size 12.
  11. For headings use bold and a font of size 16. 
  12. Paper must contain index, list of figures, list of tables, abstract, introduction, point wise description of subject and conclusion and references. 
  13. Paper must be preceded by a cover page specifying the title of the paper, names of authors and their college names as also their contact numbers and email ids.
  14. The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or appeal will be entertained.
  15. Participants should submit the soft copy of the full paper in IEEE format (abstract alone will not be accepted) and email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Event 2: AutoCAD 2D Technical Drawing Event

Rules and Regulations:

  1. Maximum number of participants in a team is limited to 2 Members.
  2. Students must utilize standard AUTO CAD SOFTWARE which is available in lab.
  3. A complete drawing should prepare as per question allotted on spot. The drawing should be prepared as per standard building bylaws.
  4. Maximum allotted time will be 90 minutes to complete the drawing.
  5. Student does not need to be present.
  6. The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or appeal will be entertained.

Event3: Super Minute Quiz

General Rules:

  1. Only team entries are allowed. 
  2. The participants will not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic gadgets during the quiz. 
  3. The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
  4. Discussion within the team is allowed.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Maximum number of participants in a Team is 2.

Technical Round:

This round consists of 20 technical questions and each questions shall be in the form of multiple choices. and all the participants are required to answer them in a sheet provided. 10 qualified teams are allowed to a next round. Maximum duration is 20 min.

Round 1: Site and Shoot

Questions will be displayed on the screen with multiple choices for each team and maximum duration for each question is 1 super minute.

Round 2: Guess what?

The participants have to identify the pictures related to famous personalities, monuments and Civil Engineering structures that will be displayed on the screen and maximum duration is 1 super minute.

Round 3: Suspense……! (Timings: - 1 Super minute )
